Accessibility

Reverie includes accessibility options that let players customize their contest experience for comfort and usability. All settings are per-player and persist across sessions.

Named presets apply multiple settings at once:

/accessibility preset <name>

Presets are configured by the server admin. Tab completion shows available preset names.

  • Camera transitions take 2x longer
  • No camera shake effects
  • Smooth easing on all movements
  • Reduced orbit speed
  • Camera stays at a fixed overview position
  • No automatic context switching
  • No rotation or panning
  • Players can still look around manually
  • Fewer particles spawned per effect
  • No ambient/background particles
  • Only essential feedback particles shown
  • Seal effects use minimal particles
  • Move selection time increased
  • Minigame windows widened
  • Countdown timers extended
  • No effect on contest phase durations (those are server-wide)
